JOHN WINSLOW, 1695 (This is John Winslow3, Son of John Winslow2, Son of John Winslow and Mary Chilton) The only original paper remaining in the files relating to the estate of John Winslow, merchant, of Boston is his will, dated 21 April, 1690, and proved 4 November, 1695, being presented for probate by the executrix. The will is also entered in Volume 13, page 685, of the records. "I John Winslow of Boston in New 5
England Merchant being now goeing abroad in their Maties Service to war against the common
Enemy." To "my Honoured Mother mrs Judith Winslow" £10, "in Testimony
of my duty and Love to her." To "Abigail my Loveing and welbeloved wife and to
her heires and assignes forever" all the rest of his estate. Wife Abigail to be sole
executrix. The witnesses were Benjamin Mountfort, Eleazer Russell and Michael Perry. |
