Will of Luke Heard The nuncupative will of Luke Heard was proved in the Ipswich court 28: 7 : 1647. The following is a copy of the same as recorded in the Ipswich Deeds, volume I, leaf 33. The lat will of Luke Herd latly deaceaed about the (sentence ends) Imprimis I give vnto my eldet onne John Herd ten pounds to be paid him at the age of 21 yeares Item I doe give vnto my onne Edmund five pounds to be paid him at the age
of 21 yeares Item I give my bookes vnto my two onnes to be equally parted
betweenethem alo this is my will that my two onnes be brought vp to writing
& to reading & then when they halbe fitt to be putt forth to uch
trades as they hall chooe. Aloe I make my loving wife Sarah Herd my
ole executrix Thus much as aboveaid was expred by the above named
LukeHerd in the prence of vs Sworne by John wyatt & Simon Tompon this to be the lat will of
