Ezekiel Willis of Sudbury Notes

Apparently Ezekiel is the father of Alice, and he is fourth in the line, the prior being
Roger1, Samuel2, Ezekiel3. Ezekiel the fau. is born in Sudbury and baptized 19 June,
1748 and dies in Wales, MA, 22 April 1826, aged 78 years (Sudbury Vital Records and
Genealogical and Biographical History of Wales, by Absalom Gardner, 1873, hand-written,
said to be deposited in the Town's Clerk Office.)
He married first Lucy Woodward, secondly Polly Moulton & thirdly Eunice
Fenton. In 1774 he buys property in Charlton, MA At the close of the war abt 1783
"Ezekiel Willis . . . came to Wales from Holland. By his death he is called of
South Brimfield (will dated 13 April 1825) and in it he mentions among many children
"Allis."
In giving the children, the author of this articles clearly notes that the
children
applied to his three marriages are by inference.
Alice is noted here as being of his second marriage and m. (intention in Holland,
Mass, 7 Jan. 1816) Jerry (Jerah) McIntire (History of Holland, Mass, Rev. Martin Lovering,
1915) b. in Charlton 7, )ct 1792, son of Abraham and Lydia McIntire (History of Holland,
as above) .
Polly Moulton, the inferred mother of Alice is said to have been dau. of John Bound and
Elizabeth (Fosket) Moulton (History of Wales) born 9 Sept 1767, died in Wales, January
1800, aged 32 years.
Between these wives, Ezekiel had some thirteen children, with the preponderance by Polly.
