Rhode Island 5 Doc Rhode Island 1698: Colonial American Document is of THE WILLIAM THE 3RD Period in American History and is on Hand Laid Paper and also has a Papermakers Watermark. This Document has Framos Brimley of Newport on Rhode Island Merchant (Executer unto the Estate of Thomas Ogber late of Newport Deceased) Recovered Judgement of Hannah Fry of Bristol Widow for for the sum of Twenty Four Pounds Ten Shillings & Ten Pence Money Debt and Damage and Two Pounds ,Two Shillings for Cost of Court and the Execution Remains to be Done: We Command you therefore that of Ye Goods,Chattles or Lands of said Hannah Fry Administrative,within ye Province to the Appropriation of the said Framos Brimley you cause to be paid and satisfied at the value thereof in money the aforesaid sums and to satisfy your own fees. WE COMMAND YOU TO TAKE THE SAID HANNAH FRY AND HER COMMIT TO THE KEEPER OF THE GOAL IN BRISTOL WITHIN THE SAID PRISON,whom we likewise Command to Receive the said Hannah Fry & her safely keep until she Pay unto the Framos Brimley the full sum above mentioned & be by him Released and also satisfy Ye Fees and this writ with your doings therin. until you return to Court.
Newport RI 1744 This Document has William Ellery Esq (Signer of the Declaration of Independence) representing the Estate of Job Almy of Newport in the County of Newport and Colony of Rhode Island, Executing Job Almys last Will and Testament by Sueing Yet Meny Howland and her son Josiah Howland both of Bristol in the County of Bristol in the Massachusetts Bay Colony Inholder's, for the Sum of Forty two Pounds Fifteen Shillings & ten pence & 3 farthings Lawful Money and the Sum of One Pound Eight Shillings and Six Pence Cost of Suit with Two Shillings more for this Writ and a former Writ. We Command you to take the Body of Yet Meny Howland and Josiah Howland and Them Commit unto our GOAL in Bristol and Detain in your Custody within our said Goal, until they pay the full sums above-said, with your fees or they be discharged by the said William Ellery and Job Almy or otherwise by order of Law. 1754 NEWPORT RI MANUSCRIPT BILL of LADING This original bill of lading was used for a cargo of cordage, yarn, rope, and twine that was shipped on board the sloop "Union," by Oliver Warner. It is signed by Evan Malbone - written on the reverse is "Evan Malbone - No. 17." This is a 4 1/8" x 6 3/8" colonial Rhode Island shipping document.
