Legal document,Deed Made In 1736,Rehoboth

1736 deed for land in Rehoboth, Massachusetts made between John Garnsey and Nathan Reed.  John Garnsey's name is signed, but his wife, Elizabeth, apparently could only sign an X.

1777 Colonial Am.Document Liquor Violation

Job Smith Esq., caught selling rum for 4 shillings six pence instead of 2 shillings a quart. More than the law allows.  Document  reads "State of Massachusetts the government and people of Massachusetts Bay Colony in New Englend." Mass Bay Seal, Great Year,1777.

1779 Colonial Am.Document Citing Fornication

By presentment of the Grand Jury in the fourth year of American Independence, Anna Glading "single women, " that she, Anna, on the first day of June in the Year of the Lord 1778 at Rehoboth,Massachusetts, with "force and arms" did commit fornication with a person unknown to the jurors against the peace. Size 7 7/8x6 1/4
