(Colonial America) Document signed, 2 pages, 1677, 7"x12", land transfer in Kittery, Massachusetts Bay Colony (now Maine). Reads in small part, "To all Christian People to whom these ? shall come, John Crafford now of Portsmo(uth)...Massachusetts Jurisdiction in New England, and Elizabeth his wife...received of Joseph Barnard of Watertown...acknowledge our Selves fully satisfied...Do absolutely give, grant...a piece or parcel of Land in the Town of Kittery...about twenty Acres..."

Original 1725 sheriffs warrant Names in the document for geneaology researchers are GEORGE HOLLOWAY OF MIDDLEBOROUGH IN THE COUNTY OF PLYMOUTH and ELIZABETH PRATT OF NEWPORT IN THE COLONY OF RHODE ISLAND. Witnessed by SETH WILLIAMS and signed by TIMOTHY TRALES
