1769 coopers account page - document, two sided, beautiful, readable, suitable for framing, mentions the Emerys of Eliot, Maine which was part of Mass

1657 handwritten document mentioning Maine

the very last word of the text is clearly Maine, just above the 4 signatures on the bottom right. It starts out I James Cassille Saillor...  It appears to be a legal document .  American or English,  the word Maine appears in a couple of places. Scanned the verso with a drawing of the elaborate watermark

        

SACO, Maine, 1783 deed for 48 acreas sold by Thomas Sevey Jr. [he signs] & Anne Sevey [she makes her mark] to George Harmon. Witness signatures of James Foss & Moses Banks. On the back side are the signatures of Joshua Fabyan [Justice Peace], and William Frost [Register].
