Connecticut Documents 2 Colonial fiscal document from Connecticutdated January 20, 1791. Issued to a Sam Russells stated he is entitled to Two Pounds of lawful money from the State of Connecticut. Printed at Hartford by Hudson and Goodwin. Signed by Ralph Pomeroy as Comptroller.

(Colonial) Manuscript document signed, 1 page, Sept 17, 1750, 7"X9", Norwich, Colony of Connecticut, agreement between Joseph Bingham and the executor of his mother-in-laws estate. Reads in part, "...I Joseph Bingham junr of Norwich...Received into my Custody & Care of Isaac Huntington...as he is Executor to the Last Will and Testment of my Honoured Mother in Law Mrs Ruth Post...the whole of the Estate...all that are expressed in the Inventory...apprised by Samuel ? & William Brett...Excepting..." Signed by Bingham, and witnessed by Nathaniel Post and Benjamin Huntington.

ROGER WOLCOTT JR, Colonial Official; son of Roger Wolcott (1679-1767), Colonial Governor of Connecticut (1750-54); brother of Oliver Wolcott (1726-97), signer of the Declaration of Independence. Manuscript document, as Justice of the Peace, 1 page, Jan 14, 1742/43, 7 1/2"X6", to the sheriff of the County of Hartford, ordering the arrest of someone to faces charges in a financial dispute.
ROGER WOLCOTT (1679-1767), Colonial Governor of Connecticut (1750-54); father of Oliver Wolcott (1726-97), signer of the Declaration of Independence. As a Major General, 1745, Roger Wolcott was second in command to Sir William Pepperell on the expedition which took Louisburg. Manuscript document, "Roger Wolcott, Dep Govr", as Deputy Governor of Connecticut, 1 page, Nov 13, 1749, 8"X12", land transfer within the Wolcott family. In part, "...I Ephraim Wolcott of Windsor... son of William Wolcott late of Windsor...for the Consideration of other lands of my honoured Father...have given & granted... a quick claim to my brother William Wolcott...title interest and Share...to that Lot of Land that belonged to my honoured Father...on the West side of the great River...partly on the lands of Rober Wolcott Jr..." Signed at bottom, acknowledging that this document was signed in front of him. also signed by Ephraim Wolcott, Josiah Wolcott, and Sarah Root (with her mark).
