New Jersey and went with his father, mother and sister Sarah (Sally) to Ohio in 1796.
Sarah: Married Levi Potter. They moved to Ohio; had son, Levi, who lived at Middleton,
Ohio. The son Levi is not shown in Desc. of Deacon Samuel Potter, with list of children at
pages 28-29. It lists John Johnson, Mariah, and Francis Marion, stating that the list is
from Littell's First Settlers. It then notes that "family records supplied by Mr. E.
L. Banker, state that Mariah and Francis Marion were the children of John Johnson Potter
and grandchildren of Levi."
